Collage: Zine & Poster Making Workshop
Led by Rayven Heath

Join artist Rayven Heath for a hands-on collage workshop exploring the creative traditions of zines, posters, and community storytelling. Participants will use images, text, and mixed-media materials to create their own visual works inspired by themes of liberation, memory, and collective imagination.

Block Printing Collage Workshop
Led by Joanna Booth

This workshop is inspired by the legacy of Emory Douglas and Elizabeth Catlett, two Black political printmakers. Both Douglas and Catlett were known for their amplification and documentation of the Black experience during the Civil Rights Era and the Black Power Movement.
In this workshop, participants are invited to make their own newspaper headlines using block printing and collaging techniques. Together we will ruminate on the messages we'd like to bring to our communities today.
